Isaiah 66:13 says, “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.”
Our Heavenly Father is the complete expression of love — not just masculine love, but feminine love as well. There are times when we need the strength and exhortation that comes from a father, and there are other times when we need comfort that comes from a mother’s heart. We thank God for our mothers, present or departed. And we are thankful that God’s love is so vast that is surpasses every love that we have ever known.
